Courtney Turner is the Director of Finance at Cure Ventures, bringing nearly two decades of experience across biotechnology, professional sports, and public accounting. She supports the firm’s finance and operational functions, with a focus on building and leading scalable financial processes within Cure’s portfolio companies. Courtney partners closely with Cure’s leadership team and portfolio companies on financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Most recently, Courtney supported Tortugas Neuroscience in building and scaling its finance and accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Previously, she served as Director of Accounting at Prime Medicine, where she built the accounting function, led month- and quarter-end close processes, and played a key role in the company’s IPO and SOX compliance efforts. Earlier in her career, Courtney held accounting roles at the Boston Red Sox and Cubist Pharmaceuticals, and began her career in public accounting at DiCicco, Gulman & Company.
Courtney received an M.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
